Week 0002
Two weeks down. So how are we getting on?
Well, lots of people with lots of nice things to say, which is nice. But still no invoices paid - they’ve all been sent by post, and many overseas, so we’re guessing that they’ll take a while to get into the right peoples hands. At least, that’s what we’re hoping.
And we’re also hopeful that things like this and this will help continue to spread the word and put pressure on the brands to pay up.
Millward Brown went and buggered up the billing by releasing the Brandz values for 2010. But we’re ploughing on with last year’s prices.
And Faris said there’s lots of sensible thinking in it. Which at least means there’s something sensible about this whole project, even if it’s got nothing to do with us.
In the meantime, our merry band continues to plug away at the ideas. Although, we’re already falling behind schedule somewhat. To all those that have been in touch with offers of help, thank you again and we’ll be in touch once we figure out how to crowdsource some ideas a bit more remotely.
Finally, if you can help in any way by spreading the word, or better still putting some pressure on the brands that we’ve already done ideas for, then please do. The ideas alone won’t be enough to get the money over to Haiti. And thanks to those who’ve helped already.
Until next week…
