We’ve sent Tesco this idea and an invoice for 1/10,000,000 of the value of their brand - £1,499.22.
McDonalds is the 5th biggest brand in the world and the biggest we’ve done an idea for yet. They’ve been asked to stump up £4,351.31.
Kicking off week two, we’ve got an idea for the Nike-owned Umbro brand here. We’ve asked them to send £784.25 over to Haiti.
That was week one
Well, almost one week down and we’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response to the 100 brands project - thanks for all the messages of support and offers of help.
Unfortunately, we’ve not yet been overwhelmed by paid invoices over at justgiving.com/robinofshoreditch. Please continue to help spread the word so pressure builds on the brands to pay and more money can be sent over to the continued relief efforts in Haiti.
And look out for ideas for Nike, McDonalds, Tesco and Blackberry coming this Monday.
The 100 Brands Channel is now live
This is where the ideas will be uploaded to each week. So it’s the place to come back to on 26th April for ideas for Tesco, Morgan Stanley, McDonalds and Nike.
And finally for this week, HSBC.
Ariel - invoiced amount £508.30
Our first four ideas have been sent to T-Mobile, UPS, Ariel and HSBC. This one here was accompanied with an invoice for $1086.40 (which even with a hideously weak pound is only £710.07). That’s a couple of nights in a hotel. A flight to Germany. Or a decent lunch for the board. But it could make a massive difference to the people of Haiti.
And this in the invoice that he’ll also find in the envelope.
Our first invoices are ready for sending. This letter is about to wing its way to the Managing Director of T-Mobile. Ariel, UPS and HSBC can also expect theirs next week…
Our prices are determined by each brand’s value, as assigned by Brandz. We simply take that value and invoice 1/10,000,000 (that’s one ten-millionth) of it for the idea we give them.
Hello and welcome
We’re Robin of Shoreditch, a merry little band of creative outlaws looking to help brands in a slightly different way.
Our first project is the 100 Brands Project, as you’ll see from the video below. Over the coming months, we’ll be providing every one of Brand Z’s Top 100 brands with a creative idea that can make a difference to their company.
In return, all we ask for is 1/10,000,000 (that’s one ten-millionth) of the value of their brand as a fee. We’ll then send on 100% of that fee to the continued relief efforts in Haiti.
The first ideas will be coming soon and we’ll be sharing them all here first. But if you’ve just stumbled across us and want to see them all, head this way.
