Yes, we know
It’s all been quiet round here lately. Rest assured though, we’ve been beavering around in the background. Ideas for this week have had to take a backseat as we’ve been working on another one-off. It’ll be worth it though, mark our words.
And Maid Marion has been dealing with some of the slimiest bank managers this side of Shoreditch Forest so we can start...

Weeks 05 and 06
Busy, busy, busy. A few things have been going on though these last two weeks:
- We got a nice email from the nice people at Innocent. So we did them an idea. They’ve been very busy with their AGM and wotnot but we’re hoping to hear back from them soon as to whether they’ll pay up.
- We’ve got another permanent member of the team; introducing Maid Marian....
Holidays
With a batch of holidays amongst the Merry Men, the team are taking a collective breather this weekend. More ideas come Monday 31st. Until then…
We’re off!
It might not be Google, McDonalds or Nike but we have sent our first money over to Haiti. A big thanks to Mr Steve Morton for his £12.77 donation. And we didn’t even send him an idea.
Based on our 1/10,000,000 invoice principle, that either makes the Steve Morton brand worth £127,700,000 or he’s simply a very generous chap.
Before we get too carried away though, the...

Week 004
No sooner had we got our account person on board than she promptly buggered off on holiday to Spain thwarting any hopes we had for tightening up the billing procedures last week. As such, it was no real surprise when our fourth week went by without any invoices being paid once more. Expect all to change upon her return.
We’ve still got lots of nice coverage though, like this...
Week 003
Third week down. Still no bills paid yet but to be brutally honest they’ve only just been posted this week too so we’re hopeful that they will come forward once the invoices are getting into the right hands.
Hopelessly aware that such delays simply won’t do we’re in the process of bringing an account man onboard to help our band of merry men. Expect news of Maid...
Low, low prices
A quick look at our data reveals that the average price billed is $1990.73. Or, if you pay your invoices in Blighty £1301.13.
Doesn’t sound much if you’re one of the world’s 100 biggest brands. But it can go a long way to help rebuild one of the 4600 schools that were lost in Haiti.

Week 0002
Two weeks down. So how are we getting on?
Well, lots of people with lots of nice things to say, which is nice. But still no invoices paid - they’ve all been sent by post, and many overseas, so we’re guessing that they’ll take a while to get into the right peoples hands. At least, that’s what we’re hoping.
And we’re also hopeful that things like this...

Accounts department not happy
Some of you may have noticed that exactly eight days after our launch, Brandz have this week released their 2010 rankings. With such impeccable timing, this has somewhat gone and buggered up our whole billing strategy.
Rather than re-jig everything, we’ll be cracking on with the 2009 brands and their respective values. That’s right, today’s ideas...

Week 001
This is our first weeknote, at the end of our first week.
It’s been great to get going. And it’s been great to see the positive response from far and wide.
Good stuff:
Bags of emails and tweets with messages of support.
The videos have been watched 687 times.
UPS and HSBC seem to be the favourites.
We’ve had six creatives get in touch wanting to join our merry...
We’ve sent Tesco this idea and an invoice for 1/10,000,000 of the value of their brand - £1,499.22.
McDonalds is the 5th biggest brand in the world and the biggest we’ve done an idea for yet. They’ve been asked to stump up £4,351.31.
Kicking off week two, we’ve got an idea for the Nike-owned Umbro brand here. We’ve asked them to send £784.25 over to Haiti.
That was week one
Well, almost one week down and we’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response to the 100 brands project - thanks for all the messages of support and offers of help.
Unfortunately, we’ve not yet been overwhelmed by paid invoices over at justgiving.com/robinofshoreditch. Please continue to help spread the word so pressure builds on the brands to pay and more money...
The 100 Brands Channel is now live
This is where the ideas will be uploaded to each week. So it’s the place to come back to on 26th April for ideas for Tesco, Morgan Stanley, McDonalds and Nike.
And finally for this week, HSBC.
Ariel - invoiced amount £508.30
One for UPS…
Our first four ideas have been sent to T-Mobile, UPS, Ariel and HSBC. This one here was accompanied with an invoice for $1086.40 (which even with a hideously weak pound is only £710.07). That’s a couple of nights in a hotel. A flight to Germany. Or a decent lunch for the board. But it could make a massive difference to the people of Haiti.

Hello and welcome
We’re Robin of Shoreditch, a merry little band of creative outlaws looking to help brands in a slightly different way.
Our first project is the 100 Brands Project, as you’ll see from the video below. Over the coming months, we’ll be providing every one of Brand Z’s Top 100 brands with a creative idea that can make a difference to their company.
In return,...
